Ireland’s Disputes Landscape: What’s Next?

Updated: 6 days ago
As part of Dublin International Disputes Week 2026, Power Law’s Rebecca McKittrick spoke on a panel of next generation lawyers discussing current and future trends in dispute resolution. Rebecca was joined by Niamh O'Brien, Rachel Devlin, Méav Bradley and Cormac Falvey with Ellen Cummins moderating.
Rebecca gave practical insights on the opportunities and advantages of utilising Ireland as the venue for international arbitrations. As the only English-speaking common-law jurisdiction in the EU, we are continuing to see a steady growth in arbitrations and the selection of Dublin based arbitration as the preferred dispute resolution mechanism - particularly in high-growth areas such as construction, life sciences and technology.
Congratulations to Rebecca and her DIDW Youth Chapter for organising this valuable and insightful networking event.
