Employment Disputes

 

Advising employers and senior executive employees on contentious employment law disputes in the WRC and the High Court on matters involving disputed terminations, unfair and wrongful dismissals, and on the resolution of those dispute through WRC/ Court determination, mediation and bilateral settlement negotiation.

 

Recent Experience

 

1.  Advising senior executive employees on the enforcement of a share option agreements and equity participation partnership deeds, including Commercial Court litigation, mediation and settlement of the disputes through negotiated settlement and expert determination.​

2.  Acting employers in relation to disciplinary processes and investigations, including urgent advice to manage rogue activity of senior executives and alleged criminal conduct by employees.​

3.  Advising employers in relation to investigations arising from complaints of bullying and harassment, discrimination and gross misconduct.

 

4.  Advising senior employees in relation to exit based on a sham redundancy​.

 

5.  Advising employers in relation to alleged unfair dismissal claims arising from redundancy processes.
